Some projects are a lasting reminder of why we love what we do. This beautiful sandstone façade is one of them.
Hand-cut and fitted by Gary himself over 25 years ago, the stonework still looks fantastic today. From the character of the sandstone to the carefully shaped cornerstones, it’s a lovely example of natural materials and skilled craftsmanship standing the test of time.
Natural Character, Lasting Appeal
One of the great attractions of natural sandstone is its individual character. Variations in colour, texture and grain give each stone its own appearance, creating a façade with warmth and depth.
On this property, those details remain every bit as appealing more than two decades later. The sandstone complements the building beautifully, showing how a thoughtfully chosen material can continue to look at home year after year.
Craftsmanship in Every Detail
The finished result is about more than the stone itself. The care taken in cutting, shaping and fitting each piece makes all the difference.
Gary’s work on this project is especially evident around the corners, where expertly cut cornerstones give the façade a strong, neatly finished appearance. It’s the kind of detail that brings the whole building together.
Seeing this work today is something we’re proud of. It reflects the care and attention that have always been at the heart of Stone Solutions.
