The original house required extensive restoration work, and we began the process by carefully raking out all the joints . This essential step helped strip back years of wear, revealing the natural beauty of the stone beneath. With a clean foundation to work from, we moved on to reconstructing the brickwork around the windows and repairing damaged stone sections before meticulously re-pointing the entire house.

The result? A timeless, authentic finish that respects the history of the property while giving it a fresh new lease of life.

To ensure the extension and garage complemented the original structure, we selected Reclaimed Basalt and Belfast Brick—two materials renowned for their historic charm. This thoughtful material choice allowed us to seamlessly blend the new with the old, ensuring the entire property remained cohesive in appearance. The textured finish and rich tones of reclaimed basalt provided an earthy, rustic feel, while Belfast brick added a layer of warmth and nostalgia, tying the build together beautifully.
